Viet Nam – Japan cultural exchange festival 2015 in Da Nang to come

To strengthen the friendship between Viet Nam and Japan, from 28 – 30 August 2015, in Da Nang Administration Center Park, Da Nang Foreign Affairs Department will coordinate with Da Nang Representative Office in Japan to organize Viet Nam – Japan cultural exchange festival 2015.

There will be many activities in 3 days with booths of culture, information, cuisine and art performance programs aiming to introduce Japanese traditional culture.

The cultural, cuisine booths will introduce Japanese cuisine, culture and fine arts to visitors with Kirigami (paper cutting art), Origami (paper folding art). In addition, visitors will have a chance to wear yukata, cosplay costumes, play other traditional games and taste delicious dishes as Udon, Chanpon, Ramen, fresh fish, Kasutera, especially Wagyu – Japanese beef from Nagasaki.

At information booths, visitors can search tourism information provided by Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), investment and recruitment information by Japanese Business Association in Da Nang (JBAD).

Besides, a lot of exciting art and cultural programs will take place such as Akido and Kendo, Japanese tea art and calligraphic performance programs, musical concert …

Especially, in the framework of the festival, the Organizing Board will organize tour to visit Japanese businesses in Da Nang, tour to learn about the relationship between Japan and Viet Nam with the theme “Come and Feel”.

Some Japanese delegations have registered for the event, including Japanese calligraphy and traditional dance Soran Bushi from Mitsuke city; Japanese tea art from Sakai; musical orchestra from Otawara and authority delegation from Nagasaki province and other individuals and organizations.
